During his working visit to Belgium, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had an audience with His Majesty King Philippe of the Belgians.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Belgium and the Belgian people for their significant and comprehensive support to Ukraine and Ukrainians since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
“The Ukrainian people will always remember your open hearts. We thank Belgium for all the necessary support and for providing temporary protection to nearly 80,000 Ukrainians,” he said.
The parties discussed the first Global Peace Summit aimed at establishing a just peace in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Head of State informed the Belgian monarch about Ukraine's vision and expectations from the Summit.
The President of Ukraine and the King of the Belgians discussed the humanitarian situation and the ways to improve it.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen of the Belgians to visit Ukraine at their convenience.
