During a working trip to the Donetsk region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards and valuable gifts to servicemen in the JFO area on the occasion of the Day of the Defender of Ukraine.
"You have the most difficult, the most patriotic job. You defend our independence, our sovereignty. I am grateful to each of you. You are doing a great job, for which all generations of Ukrainians will be grateful - bringing our land back. I believe in our common victory over the enemy," the President said addressing the military.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the warriors on the Day of the Defender of Ukraine.
"You are our defenders. Take care of yourself, take care of us and our whole Ukraine," the President said.
The Head of State also heard a report on the operational situation in the JFO area and got himself acquainted with the plan of future demining sites.
