The first item on the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 3 should be amendments to the law on the State Bureau of Investigation as regards continuation of the investigation into crimes against participants of the Revolution of Dignity, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
“Despite the fact that the Prosecutor's Office has been deprived of its investigative functions since November 20, you must continue to exercise due process guidance in criminal proceedings of other bodies. First of all, it concerns crimes committed on the Independence Square in 2013-2014,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, speaking at the Prosecutor General's Office on the eve of the Prosecutor's Day.
The Head of State separately noted: “On December 3, the first issues on the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be very important changes to the law on the State Bureau of Investigation. No one will allow the Maidan cases to be dismissed".
