Among the priority bills to be considered by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at an extraordinary plenary session on Monday, March 30, are the amendments to the state budget for 2020 aimed to combat the spread of coronavirus disease, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"We need to work very carefully there, to work in detail, so as not to offend anyone, not to stop the economy due to certain reduction, and necessarily - not to hurt our people," the Head of State noted during his communication with journalists after the meeting of the Servant of the People party.

At the same time, the President noted that the Parliament would have to repeatedly consider a number of bills related to the support of the Ukrainian economy given the coronavirus pandemic in the future.

That is why Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested that the people's deputies work remotely during the spread of coronavirus disease.

“This will not be the last extraordinary meeting. I want them to consider the possibility of working remotely. That is, they will draft such a bill, it can only be in force in conditions of coronavirus (pandemic - ed.). Then, when this disease goes away, and it will definitely pass, this bill will not be important and necessary," the President said.
