During a working trip to the Poltava region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the building of interventional cardiology and rehabilitation of the Poltava Regional Clinical Cardiology Dispensary, which was reconstructed in the framework of the National Program "Great Construction".
Head of the Poltava regional state administration Oleh Syniehubov noted that the fleet of ambulances was renewed in the region. 165 new vehicles have been purchased under government and World Bank programs.
The President talked to the staff of the cardiology dispensary.
"Very beautiful, modern, high-tech. We want to thank you for a very difficult job," the President said, addressing the doctors.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that he was really impressed by the scale of the reconstruction of the dispensary.
"We have traveled to many countries many times, I have visited many hospitals. I saw the most modern hospitals in Europe, in America, in the world. But I have never seen a state hospital, a state center of such level," the President said during a conversation with the media.
The Head of State noted that diagnostics, prevention and rehabilitation in the reconstructed dispensary are carried out at the highest level. The institution employs high-class specialists.
"We entered the intensive care unit and saw bright young professionals with intelligence in the eyes. I think they help, because when you look at them, you want to live. It is said that even the walls are healing. I believe that such walls can heal," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
