While on a working trip to the Odesa region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy got himself acquainted with the implementation of the National Program “Great Construction” in the region. In particular, the Head of State inspected the construction of a kindergarten in the urban-type settlement of Avanhard, the Ovidiopol district.
During the inspection of the facility, the President was told that the kindergarten is being built in a new residential area where about 25,000 people live and where there was no kindergarten. Construction is financed from the regional and local budgets.
"It is a really nice kindergarten. Only children are missing. And you should add more life here. For example, paint the walls with bright pictures. So that it will be pleasant and interesting for children to come here when the kindergarten opens its doors for them," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
The President was informed that the kindergarten will start working from November.
Head of the Odesa regional state administration Maksym Kutsyi said that it is planned to implement 16 projects of construction, reconstruction and major repair of schools, kindergartens and stadiums in total in the framework of the "Great Construction" in 2020 in the Odesa region. It is planned to spend UAH 468.5 million for the implementation of these projects.
