"Large Construction" in the Donetsk region: Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited sports complexes in Kramatorsk

During a working trip to the Donetsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the newly built ice arena and sports and recreation complex in Kramatorsk. The projects are included in the National Program "Large Construction".

The building of the ice arena allows not only to train athletes and hold competitions, but also carry out sports and recreation classes for the population. The grandstand here is designed for more than 400 spectators. The cost of the object amounted to over UAH 100 million.

It is planned to create a children's school and a hockey team on the basis of the ice arena.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the quality of the newly built facility.

The President also got himself acquainted with the completion of the construction of a sports complex in the area of the city park, where the ice arena is located. In particular, it is planned to create an outdoor pool, recreational areas and sports grounds there.

In addition, the Head of State visited the sports and recreation complex, the construction of which began in April this year. It is currently 85% complete. There will be workout areas, exercise machines, beach volleyball courts, a tennis court and a football field with artificial turf.

During the inspection, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the need to complete the work as soon as possible and allow citizens to use the sports infrastructure.

Separately, the President was told that including this complex, it is planned to implement 15 social projects (five schools, five kindergartens and five sports facilities) within the National Program "Large Construction" in the Donetsk region in 2020. The total cost is UAH 417 million. 

In addition, road construction plans are being implemented. It is planned to restore more than 200 km of roads and nine bridges of state importance, as well as 93.3 km of roads and four bridges of local importance in the framework of the program "Large Construction" in the Donetsk region in 2020.
