The United Kingdom Can Demonstrate Leadership in Strengthening Ukraine – Andriy Yermak in His Speech at Chatham House

The United Kingdom can demonstrate leadership in strengthening Ukraine, which will enable the creation of a new sustainable system of European security. This was stated by Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak in his speech at the Chatham House roundtable on Ukrainian issues.

Andriy Yermak stressed that the United Kingdom is one of the leaders in shaping a just, secure and free world order. He called for continued training of Ukrainian brigades and increased sanctions pressure on Russia.

The Head of the Presidential Office noted that the end of the war is possible only if Ukraine is strengthened and urged the United Kingdom to take joint actions.

“A joint victory plan is more than strategies or agreements. It is a shared responsibility. Ukraine has proven its commitment to being a reliable partner. We are fighting not just for our land, but for the future of the entire democratic world. Together we can end this war and build a peace that people will believe in. A peace based on justice, the rule of law and true leadership,” Andriy Yermak said.

He emphasized the importance of forming new contours for European security and eliminating any uncertainties.

“We offer deeper integration of Ukraine into the European security framework. This means enhancing the role of the United Kingdom. This means strengthening all of Europe. This means that we all must work together to create a new sustainable system,” the Head of the Presidential Office concluded.
