More than 19,000 inspections have been carried out at food and non-food trade outlets, food markets and public eating facilities since June 19, 2020. The number of inspections is increasing daily, and almost 12,000 have been carried out in the last three days. This was announced to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a traditional conference call with government officials and law enforcement officials to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
According to the results of these inspections, 2788 violations were detected in three days, for which protocols were drawn up.
"People are tired and started to relax, but businesses that earn money should be held accountable if they do not monitor compliance with safety measures and thus expose customers to the risk of infection," the President said.
Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov reported that in the Zakarpattia and Volyn regions, medical institutions started to prepare more beds due to the growing number of patients in hospitals.
