Office of the President Hosts Meeting with Ukrainian Ambassadors to Southeast Europe

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Brusylо held a meeting with the ambassadors of Ukraine to the countries of Southeast Europe: Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Cyprus, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro.

The main focus of the meeting was to assess Ukraine’s relations with the countries of the region, discuss the implementation of joint initiatives, and plan participation in events related to cooperation between Ukraine and Southeast European states in the security, humanitarian, and infrastructure sectors.

“The Southeast European region is of strategic importance to Ukraine, both in terms of political support and the development of transport corridors and energy infrastructure. Our task is to make the most of the potential for cooperation with the countries of the region to strengthen international support for Ukraine and implement joint economic projects,” Ihor Brusylо emphasized.

Together with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and heads of Ukraine's diplomatic missions, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office addressed, in particular, the participation of the President of Ukraine and other state leaders in international events, as well as preparations for high-level bilateral meetings.

The participants of the meeting also outlined concrete steps to strengthen Ukraine’s diplomatic presence in the region and agreed on an action plan to ensure the effective implementation of our state’s foreign policy priorities.
