Desire and words are not enough for liberating all the occupied territories of Ukraine, it is necessary to work and prepare appropriate steps. It was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the press conference for Ukrainian and foreign media entitled "February. The Year of Invincibility."
"Every person in Ukraine really wants every next step to be decisive, final, victorious. And very often someone can't stand it, and emotionally, when speaking officially to the media, even public officials on different levels start talking about some deadlines. Because everyone wants to return the territories. Because I really want the war to end. Because we want peace so much," Zelenskyy said.
At the same time, the President said that only emotions and words are not enough – we need to work because everything depends on Ukrainians.
"There are military steps. We are preparing for them. We are ready mentally. We are preparing technically. Weapons, strengthening, creation of units, offensive brigades. We send different categories of people to train. Not only in Ukraine, but also on the sites of other countries. Because there are weapons of a different type, and we have to be ready," he said.
The President said: if all Ukrainians and our partners remain strong and united, victory will inevitably await Ukraine.
"I am sure that there will be a victory. Yes, I really want it this year. We have everything for this: motivation, confidence, friends, diplomacy, journalists. We united all our forces against this onslaught," Zelenskyy said.
