All facilities for observation must be fully prepared and comfortable for the people - President

61 facilities for observation of Ukrainians arriving from abroad are ready in Ukraine. It was stated during a daily conference call of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with government officials involved in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

The President emphasized that conditions of the given facilities should be comfortable for people.

"All facilities must be checked, all the necessary conditions for isolation and comfortable living must be ensured there," the Head of State emphasized.

Secretary of the Coordination Council on Combating the Spread of COVID-19 Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that glasses, suits and masks have already been sent to these facilities - hotels and sanatoria - to protect the guests arriving.

Additionally they discussed the procedure of rotation of people arriving for observation. The parties decided that the people will undergo PCR tests on the fifth or sixth day after departure. If the result is negative, that is, no coronavirus infection, people will be sent home for self-isolation.

"We have no time to wait, doctors are already working on the frontline, and their remuneration should be appropriate already now, not in a week or a month," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
