During a working trip to the Luhansk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the Joint Forces Operation.
The Head of State got himself acquainted with the conditions of service on the frontline.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy talked to the soldiers and thanked them for their service.
"You are defending the interests of our country, our sovereignty and territorial integrity," he said.
The President reminded that 77 years ago Kyiv was liberated from Nazi invaders. He expressed confidence that today Ukraine will also manage to liberate its lands from the enemy.
"I am sure that due to the resilience of our heroes this will definitely happen to the temporarily occupied Donbas. Thank you for your service. Take care of yourself, our families and Ukraine in general," the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented gifts and a certificate for a military vehicle to the defenders.
