At a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian and foreign media on Monday, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak presented the philosophy of each point of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula, which the Ukrainian side shared with participants of consultations in Jeddah on August 5-6.
"We have formed our common vision of each of the ten points of President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula. It is common because in the course of lengthy consultations at various levels, this vision reflected the positions of most countries involved in the implementation of Ukraine's peace initiative," said Andriy Yermak.
He emphasized that Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula is based on the key principles of the UN Charter and international law, as well as respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries within their internationally recognized borders.
"These are the principles that were unanimously agreed upon by the participants of the meeting of national security advisors held in Jeddah," he said.
"The implementation of the Peace Formula means restoring respect for the UN Charter and international law, which was destroyed by Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine," added Andriy Yermak.
In addition, the Head of the President's Office informed the media about further practical steps to implement the Peace Formula.
"We will continue to work to elaborate the actual agenda, the documents, conclusions, and agreements we envisage to implement each of the ten points of the Formula," he explained.
Andriy Yermak noted that a regular meeting of the ambassadors of the participating countries will be held in the near future to coordinate further actions. Practical steps will be developed to implement each of the points of the Peace Formula. In parallel, the agenda for the inaugural Global Peace Summit will be prepared.
