During an official visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the United Arab Emirates, the Ukrainian delegation signed a number of memoranda and contracts totaling $ 3 billion.

In particular, memoranda of understanding were signed between the State Property Fund of Ukraine and the Mubadala Investment Company. They are aimed at deepening cooperation in the development of promising investment projects and the participation of the Emirati party in the program of privatization of state property in Ukraine.

"At all international meetings, I call for investment in Ukraine. Our state has a huge potential: geopolitical position, natural resources, educated people. Now is the time to realize this potential and create a strong economy," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

He stressed that attracting investments is the key to Ukraine's economic growth. Therefore, the signing of a memorandum with the Mubadala State Investment Fund of the Government of Abu Dhabi on the intention to invest in Ukraine is an extremely important step in paving the way for large-scale investment in Ukraine from West Asia.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has signed a memorandum with INTELMAX Management Consulting, which provides for cooperation in creating a platform for the exchange of intellectual property based on the Fantom blockchain, which will provide increased security and transparency. It is also planned to introduce blockchain technologies in state processes and public services.

Documents in the field of defense were also signed, in which, in particular, the possibility of building joint plants outside Ukraine was discussed.

In addition, a memorandum was signed in the agricultural sector, which provides for the establishment of an agro-hub and a trading company to ensure food security.

The possibility of launching a Ukrainian sovereign fund for joint investments is also being considered.

In addition, 18 Ukrainian private companies, including Interpipe, Dragon Capital, DTEK, Unit City, EastOne, UMG, Ufuture, Fortior, have signed memoranda with the Mubadala Investment Company.
