Ukraine sent another aircraft to South Korea for special protection means

Another aircraft has been sent to the Republic of Korea to bring to Ukraine the next batch of special medical protection means to counteract the spread of COVID-19.

Pursuant to the instruction of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, this aircraft will also bring home 10 South Korean nationals who have expressed a desire to return home but have been unable to depart from Ukraine due to restrictions of international air travel.

On the way back, the aircraft will bring to Ukraine reusable protective suits and other means of protection, which will later be transferred to medical institutions in the regions.

It should be reminded that during a traditional meeting on the fight against coronavirus, Volodymyr Zelenskyy once again emphasized that special means of protection should be provided not only to the hub hospitals, but also to all other medical institutions of the country.

Earlier, Ukraine brought 100,000 PCR tests from South Korea to detect COVID-19. The tests are already used in Ukrainian hospitals.
