President after the meeting with the IMF Managing Director: Ukraine and the IMF have friendly relations

In the framework of the 56th Munich Security Conference, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva. This is already the second meeting of the President with the IMF leader this year.

The parties discussed the draft laws that will help Ukraine achieve stable economic growth and provide mechanisms for protection of its citizens. In particular, they touched upon the progress of judicial reform, the development of the rule of law system, the so-called bank bill.

“Our meeting with Kristalina Georgieva was constructive as always. We discussed recent developments and positive achievements in our economy that will bring benefits to every Ukrainian. Our dialogue with the IMF is meaningful and our relations are friendly,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy summed up.
