The end of the war in Donbas is possible only through diplomatic channels. For this end Ukraine needs to have a strong position and support, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Speaking at the RE: THINK. Invest in Ukraine Forum in Mariupol, the Head of State stressed that ending the war in the east and returning all Ukrainian territories was the main task.
"It can only be done in a diplomatic way. And for this end Ukraine needs to have a strong position and support. To be a state that is respected and listened to. To thrive, to be independent and successful,” the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stresses that Ukraine should become such a country and that is why he went into politics.
“Moreover, that is why you are here today. After all, peace in Ukraine is the key to security and stability in Europe and the world, and Ukraine's success is your success,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, addressing the participants of the forum.
