In the issue of achieving peace in Donbas, Ukraine does not react to blackmail, but tries to maintain a shaky dialogue, including at the level of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), to achieve results and end the war, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Ukraine does not give in to blackmail. And everyone sees it - both Europe and, by the way, Russia. But today we are finding a balance for the meetings of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk with the Russian Federation, which is a party to the Minsk process. Peace is fragile and unstable, but we are doing everything to continue this dialogue to achieve a stable result," the Ukrainian President said, answering questions from the media after a meeting with President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová in Bratislava.
He reminded that today the result of all meetings of the TCG and advisors to the leaders of the member states of the Normandy format is the establishment of the regime of silence in Donbas.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said that the Ukrainian party is waiting for the next meeting of advisors to the leaders of the “Normandy Four", but noted that the purpose of these talks is not just to hold another meeting, but to get results.
"I have information that this meeting is being prepared for the near future. But after a fruitful meeting of advisors, there should be a meeting of leaders (of the countries of the Normandy format - ed.)," the President of Ukraine noted.
