Ukraine must implement innovative forms of diplomacy and seek new approaches in international relations, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva stated during the international forum "Diplomacy Today: Ukraine's Role in Global Politics."
He emphasized that the President of Ukraine consistently employs new tools in diplomatic relations. For instance, Volodymyr Zelenskyy not only speaks at traditional international platforms but also addresses the people of partner countries and engages with foreign students.
"Ukraine will continue to approach diplomacy innovatively. We will always present bold ideas and adopt such methods. What seemed impossible a few years ago is now becoming a reality," Ihor Zhovkva said.
He also highlighted that Ukraine successfully secured long-range weapons, tanks, and aircraft from its allies, despite skepticism from some experts regarding the possibility of these supplies.
Ihor Zhovkva called the signing of 27 bilateral security agreements on Ukraine's path to NATO membership another innovative approach. Additionally, the President of Ukraine proposed the Peace Formula, which represents a vision for achieving a just and lasting peace.
"We are confident that most countries around the world will continue to share our approaches to global and European security. We believe the second Peace Summit should take place in the near future. Our proposals are on the table, and we are discussing them with all key leaders," the Deputy Head of the Office of the President concluded.
