Ukraine ready for open cooperation with foreign business – Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Ukraine is open to foreign business if it works transparently and creates additional jobs in our country. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, when he answered a question at the YES Brainstorming event organized by the Yalta European Strategy in Kyiv.

"If the business is clean, open and gives additional jobs in Ukraine, this is a priority," the head of state said.

Asked about relations between Ukraine and China, Zelenskyy said that he would like to increase foreign investment in the Ukrainian economy.

"As for relations with China. Today, when everyone is thinking about domestic politics, domestic business, and the country's economy, what can I say about the country with which we have the largest trade turnover? This is about strategic relations, about strategic economic partners. I know that Chinese business is entering Ukraine, and I would like any business to enter Ukraine more, invest more," the President said.

"I would like the trade turnover between our states to be even greater, so that Ukrainian business exported more to China, because there is a large market there," he added.

In relation to the strategic enterprises of Ukraine, according to the head of state, they should remain in state ownership, because this is a matter of national security. In particular, therefore, it was decided to suspend the sale of Motor Sich shares.
