As part of a working trip to the Zaporizhzhia region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a military hospital where Ukrainian servicemen who were injured during the repulse of a full-scale invasion of Russia are undergoing treatment.
The President spoke with the wounded servicemen and presented state awards to them.
"Thank you for your service, I wish you a speedy recovery and all the best," he said.
The Head of State also observed the work of the medical institution, inspected the ER department and surgical department. Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with medics working in this hospital.
"You are the ones who save life. I want to thank you on behalf of all of us, on behalf of myself personally, for your very important and powerful work," the President said.
The Head of State emphasized that doctors return soldiers to the ranks, but, most importantly, return them to life, to family and friends.
"All these days, months, we are moving towards victory together with you. You are also our heroes. And I wish you this victory," said the President.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to the medical workers.
