In the framework of the NATO Summit in Vilnius, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese.
The Head of State expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided to Ukraine by Australia and informed his interlocutor about the situation on the frontline.
The parties discussed the defense needs of our country and further cooperation in this sphere, particularly the possible expansion of military support by new types of armored vehicles and weapons. The President of Ukraine thanked Australia for providing 30 additional Bushmaster armored vehicles and logistical support for defense.
The parties also discussed the need for further sanctions against the aggressor state.
