During a working visit to Sumy region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a military hospital.
The Head of State met with the servicemen who are undergoing treatment in the institution. These defenders were wounded in the Kupyansk and Bakhmut sectors, as well as near the village of Krynky in Kherson region.
The President was briefed on the course of treatment and recovery of the Ukrainian warriors, including those who were seriously wounded. He inquired about the health of the military and wished them a speedy recovery.
"Get well soon, guys. I wish you all the best. Thank you for your service," the Head of State said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the wounded defenders of Ukraine with state awards: the Order "For Courage", III class, the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine", and the medal "To the Defender of the Motherland".
The President also inspected the rehabilitation equipment, ergography room and talked to the doctors.
"Thank you for your work, for helping our warriors, bringing them back to life," noted Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
