In the process of rebuilding Ukraine, American business will once again be able to demonstrate the power of free entrepreneurship - Andriy Yermak at the meeting of the National Association of State Chambers

Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak is convinced that the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine will be a challenge and an opportunity for American entrepreneurs to show their best well-known qualities. He said this during an online speech at a meeting of the American National Association of State Chambers (NASC).

Andriy Yermak noted that the participants of this meeting are well aware of what freedom is, as freedom of personality and entrepreneurship is a key condition for the economic development of the United States. He noted that the Ukrainian people have been fighting for freedom for centuries, and now Russia is once again trying to break our lives and decide who lives and who can be tortured or killed.

"But Russia's aggression is not only aimed at Ukraine. Russia is systematically attacking the entire democratic world and trying to destroy the world order. Insidious aggravation of the energy crisis in Europe, deliberate aggravation of the food crisis in dozens of countries for the sake of blackmail, numerous information and cyber attacks are part of the Russian war against the civilization of freedom," the Head of the Presidential Office emphasized.

He believes that the courage of Ukrainians and the determination of Americans, who have united their allies to help Ukraine, will not give the aggressor any chance.

Andriy Yermak once again thanked the American authorities, business and the entire nation for supporting our country and for their commitment to defeat the aggressor, which will be a common success.

The Head of the President's Office noted that the aggressor must be punished for the crimes committed during the war on the territory of Ukraine. It is extremely important to bring the Russian leadership to justice for the crime of aggression, and a special international tribunal should be established for this purpose.

In addition, Andriy Yermak emphasized that after the war, a new order should emerge in the world that is fairer and safer for everyone, which is what the Peace Formula proposed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is aimed at.

The ten points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula include radiation, nuclear, food, energy, and environmental security, restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity and respect for international law, prevention of future escalation, return of Ukrainian hostages of the Kremlin, and restoration of justice.

"But we still have many challenges ahead. We need to expel the occupiers from our land and fully protect ourselves and other nations from repeating such acts of aggression. Therefore, not only the volume, but also the pace of military assistance from our allies is extremely important," the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine emphasized.

Andriy Yermak also reminded of the importance of strengthening economic sanctions against Russia, completely ending cooperation with the aggressor, and making all American and international companies leave Russia.

According to the Head of the Office of the President, after the war, Ukraine will strive not only to restore what was destroyed, but also to build a new modern country according to the best international standards and technologies, and to completely renew its energy and social infrastructure.

According to him, the government, together with the world's largest investment companies, is creating a special platform to attract private capital for Ukraine's recovery.

Andriy Yermak emphasized that business representatives are well aware that every problem brings new opportunities, so those who come to Ukraine will have every chance to become one of the drivers of future global growth.

"I am sure that American business definitely has something to demonstrate to be useful to Ukraine and benefit at the same time. So you and your members can once again show the power of America and free entrepreneurship," he addressed the audience.
