In Prague, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel met with 14-year-old Ukrainian Anton Kotsko from the city of Boryslav, Lviv region.
Anton Kotsko has been undergoing treatment in the Czech Republic since March 2022. The boy dreamed of meeting the President of Ukraine and even recorded a video message to him. In response, the Head of State also recorded an address for Anton.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy inquired about the boy's health and presented him with a stamp depicting the dog Patron with the slogan "Stronger Together".
"I wish you victory and thank you for your strong faith," the Head of State noted.
"Mr. President, I am very glad that we met today, it was my most cherished wish," the boy said and thanked Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the gift.
Anton Kotsko presented the President of Ukraine with a T-shirt with his drawing and the inscription "Together we are strong", a heart-shaped souvenir, and a figure of the goddess of justice Themis.
"Thank you very much for leading Ukraine to victory. I want to give you the goddess of justice Themis, so that justice and integrity flourish in Ukraine and any evil is justly punished. I see in this goddess what you show the world every day. I am proud of you and of the whole of Ukraine!" the boy said.
"Thank you very much, Anton! It is very important to be united, to be together. Thank you very much for all the gifts!" the Head of State replied.
Anton Kotsko also presented gifts to Petr Pavel and thanked him for the hospitality of the Czech Republic.
