During a working visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Turkey, the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture met with CEO of Aksoy Ventures Batu Aksoy. Aksoy Ventures, which combines electricity generation, fuel distribution and industrial construction, is interested in privatizing Ukrainian energy companies and implementation of infrastructure projects.
"Ukraine is interested in further growth of Turkish investments and implementation of joint projects, including infrastructure, on the terms of public-private partnership. A list of priority investment projects for the state will be approved in the near future. In particular, it will include public-private partnership projects in the transport sector. A new legislative platform is also being formed in Ukraine - a bill on "investment nannies" that will significantly increase Ukraine's attractiveness to investors," Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko said.
"It is important not to postpone the meetings. If there is a chance, let us meet on the weekend, discuss the details to move faster and attract investment. Turkish business has proven its quality in the international arena," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
