During a working trip to the Cherkasy region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy got himself acquainted with the problem of unfinished construction of the House of Culture in Kaniv.
The contractor's representative noted that approximately UAH 240 million was needed to complete the construction, and UAH 70 million was needed for the first stage of construction. Volodymyr Zelenskyy answered that these funds could be allocated by a direct subvention and the object could be transferred to the balance of the regional authorities. At the same time, after inspecting the premises, in particular the assembly hall, the President stressed that all the work for the commissioning of at least the first stage could be completed by the end of the year.
Also in Kaniv, the President of Ukraine visited the Shevchenko National Reserve.
The Head of State honored the memory of Kobzar and laid flowers at his grave.
In addition, the President honored the memory of the fallen ATO warriors who gave their lives in the battles for the independence of our state. Volodymyr Zelenskyy laid flowers at the memorial to the defenders of Ukraine in the city center.
