Consultations with Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, his deputies Iryna Gerashchenko and Oksana Syroyid, and leaders of parliamentary factions and groups are being continued in the Presidential Administration. The topic of the conversation is the early termination of powers of the Verkhovna Rada. The meeting is attended by Artur Herasymov, chairman of the faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc; Maksym Burbak, chairman of the faction of the People's Front; Vadym Novynskyi, chairman of the faction of the Opposition Bloc; Oleh Bereziuk, chairman of the faction of the Samopomich Union; Oleh Lyashko, chairman of the faction of the Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko; Yulia Tymoshenko, chairman of the faction of the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland"; Yaroslav Moskalenko, chairman of the People's Will deputy group; Vitaliy Khomutynnik, co-chairman of the deputy group of the Party "Revival".
It bears reminding that on May 20, during a speech at the solemn session of the Parliament on the occasion of the inauguration of the newly elected President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation.
