Ukraine needs urgent aid from its allies and partners, as any delay in meeting the needs of the Ukrainian army during the war with Russia costs human lives. This was stated by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak on the air of National Public Radio.
"Our warriors, our heroes, are holding the territory, but it is extremely difficult given the shortage of artillery ammunition. At the same time, over the course of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has managed to liberate more than 50% of its occupied territory. But, of course, without ammunition, as well as without a number of other important things for the fight, it is extremely difficult for our warriors today. So, I will emphasize once again: urgent aid is vital for us, as the cost of time at war is human lives lost," emphasized Andriy Yermak.
The Head of the President's Office confirmed that Ukraine is not going to give up its territories.
"We will not accept any compromises or concessions regarding our independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as our freedom," said the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
He also added that despite various conflicts and wars that are taking place in the world today, Ukraine remains a priority topic because it is the largest war in Europe since World War II. And more and more countries are joining the process of finding a peaceful solution based on the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
"After the meeting in Davos, where we had an event with the participation of (national security advisors and foreign policy advisors to the heads of state – Ed.) 82 countries, including countries with rather complicated relations with each other, we all sat at the same table and discussed Ukraine for more than 8 hours: how to stop the war, how to ensure a just peace, how to elaborate a detailed plan from the international community of responsible states and implement it in the future," said Andriy Yermak.
