President of Ukraine

Speeches

We are doing our best to support our units and destroy the occupier. I thank each of our combat brigades, all the soldiers and commanders who are destroying the enemy with all their might and, in particular, using our drone capabilities with precision.

I am grateful to everyone in Ukraine, in every region, who is working exactly as needed to ensure that the social sector, business and communities are prepared for winter.

We are now at a new phase in the development of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We have done a lot to elevate the Ukrainian Air Force to a new standard of aviation – Western combat aviation.

And one more thing for today. Our state is currently conducting evacuations in the Middle East from dangerous areas of Lebanon. The Defense Intelligence, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine have organized the evacuation of 30 of our citizens — women with children, who are now, at this moment, already in safety. And we will continue this work.

Our unity must be maintained in the future – all of us here in Ukraine, all of us in Europe and in the world who value Ukraine, who value life.

It is extremely important to ensure resilience for our state for years to come, which will guarantee greater capabilities for us now, this year, given the existing challenges and threats. Of course, the key task is to support both the Defense Forces and the state budget, as well as to ensure Ukraine's social resilience.

It is an obvious proof that we can be stronger both in the defense against missiles and in the defense against Russian military aircraft. Everything depends on the weapons in the hands of our warriors.

There are already loan and grant programs, various forms of support from our partners — most communities can find their own options to provide people with more energy capacity.

The preparation for the winter is what we are working on now, in the summer. We are also working on the configuration of our air defense so that Kharkiv and our other regions have more protection from Russian strikes.

Today, first and foremost, I would like to commend two of our combat brigades – the 25th Sicheslav separate airborne brigade fighting in the Pokrovsk direction, and the 95th separate air assault brigade fighting in the Toretsk direction.
