President of Ukraine

Speeches

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have now managed to reduce the assault capabilities of the occupiers in the Donetsk region. The situation remains extremely challenging, with heavy fighting daily in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions. But we are doing everything possible for the resilience of our combat brigades.

There is, and can be, no alternative to peace, no freezing of the war, or any other manipulations that will simply shift Russian aggression to another stage. We need reliable and long-term security for Ukraine, and, therefore, for all of Europe.

I worked together with the military command. A good, strong content of the military package for our Victory Plan has been prepared – the very things that can significantly strengthen Ukraine in accordance with the Victory Plan.

Key people from each sector are involved. The necessary steps for Ukraine have already been clearly defined. The steps designed to give us the strongest possible position to bring about peace – a real, just peace.

Donetsk region, key directions. We are holding our positions, no matter how difficult it is. He also reported on the Kursk region — on our actions and the enemy's reaction. As anticipated, we are defending our fundamental interest — to bring peace closer.

First of all – our gratitude to our warriors, combat units, which replenish the exchange fund for our state. Thanks to this work, representatives of Ukraine and our exchange team are able to free our people from Russian captivity.

I want to highlight once again: sufficient. Sufficient not to simply say that there is a decision, but to really change the course of the war and make Russia seek peace. And we are really counting on our partners, hoping for results from our partners.

Today, war affects everyone. It affects all of us in Ukraine, in Europe, and around the world. All of us: men, women, our parents, but above all, our children.

I am confident: we will be able to achieve this – to achieve real peace, just peace, and above all lasting peace. We see it. And we will see, I am sure, a free Crimea.
