President of Ukraine

Speeches

Today we are in Sumy region. I've been here with the team all day. First, our military. The second issue for today is, of course, everything related to the defense of Sumy region, each community, each city.

I am grateful to everyone who works for the city, to everyone who cares about people and helps others.

Of course, our sky shield requires significant strengthening. We are working on this with all our partners whose decisions can change the nature of this war and protect our cities and villages from terror.

It is important to act together every time missiles and drones attempt to destroy our lives. To act to reduce the potential for terror, to block it.

Our people here in Ukraine are responsible for the physical protection of facilities and their recovery following strikes. However, true and comprehensive protection from Russian missiles and Shahed drones is only possible with sufficient political will on the part of our partners.

With all our partners, we are always talking about increasing our ability to defend the sky. The partners have the air defense systems that are needed for this, and they can help.

Nowhere in Europe should violence and degradation prevail, as it does in Russia.

We are working as actively as possible with our partners and on domestic production of weapons to provide more necessary means for our warriors.

We have proven that we can restore food security, and I invite all of you to join this and other points of our Peace Formula.
