President of Ukraine

Speeches

We are preparing for further strengthening air defense – we have already reached agreements on this. The theme of air defense arises in almost every meeting and talk with world leaders. There will be more systems, more protection for the sky.

It is very important for the government to be in constant communication with local governments and for community leaders to understand the current situation, what our entire country is living through, and how important it is to be fully focused on defense and helping people.

This is a truly remarkable result for Ukraine and for the whole of Europe. Another step towards Ukraine's full membership in the EU.

I ask you one thing today – do not betray the people and their faith in Europe.

You’ve maintained your attention on Ukraine, just like at the war’s start. You wish for our victory and care about our people’s fate.

I’m confident that freedom can be stronger than any of its enemies. I believe we can be just as effective in defending freedom now as the free world was in 1989. I’m as confident today as I was on February 24th, when I told world leaders – Ukraine will fight, Ukraine will stand.

I genuinely wish Argentina sound decision-making and sustained growth: may poverty decrease and strength increase. May freedom continually flourish.

Let those in Russia not doubt: everyone – from terrorists to terror propagandists – they will all be held accountable. For every strike.

Thanks to the integration of our energy system with Europe, we have appropriate support from our neighbors, which is important. I thank every country that helps.

Because when we can defend ourselves, it strengthens everyone else in the world who, like us in Ukraine, values freedom and the international order.
