President of Ukraine

Speeches

I am grateful to all of you who are truly working, with all your might, for our state and people. And we must all maintain our energy – fighting for victories for Ukraine and defending the interests of Ukrainians.

Everything that inflicts losses on the Russian army, Russian state, their military-industrial complex, and their economy helps prevent the war from expanding and brings us closer to a just end to this aggression – a just peace for Ukraine.

We are doing everything to provide our warriors with the necessary weapons and reinforcements. And in this regard, it is undoubtedly important for us that our partners remove the barriers that prevent us from weakening Russian positions as required by the course of the war.

We see that the occupier is suffering losses, and this is helpful, very helpful for our defense. It is about destroying the logistics of the Russian army and draining their reserves.

These are the decisions that will help Ukrainian warriors, the whole Ukrainian society, and our state institutions.

The bolder our partners' decisions are, the less Putin will be able to do. And today I held a meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, our Office, the National Security and Defense Council. We have prepared an algorithm for our actions to achieve strong decisions by our partners.

The Commander-in-Chief reported that our forces control 74 communities in the Kursk region. I thank every soldier, every commander who ensures this.

I held a meeting of the Staff. There was a report by Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi. On the frontline situation and all key defense areas. As well as the operation in the Kursk region – General Syrskyi reported that about a thousand square kilometers in the Kursk region are under our control.

Our beautiful, wonderful generations and your future children will always have in Ukraine the opportunity to realize their talents, to feel needed, especially needed by Ukraine, to provide for their families, and to educate their children.

It is entirely fair for Ukrainians to be able to respond to this terror in the way necessary to stop it. With appropriate long-range strikes on missile launch sites in Russia, with appropriate destruction of Russian military logistics.
