President of Ukraine

Speeches

Now we are working to attract more resources and partners to strengthen the Ukrainian air shield. Protection against shelling is an absolute priority.

Today we received a report from the military: the frontline, the situation with brigades – manning. We are preparing new formats to support brigades and man our units. I have given instructions to present the details to the public next week.

Every such Russian strike must face a response from the world – terror must not go unpunished. The most effective response is to support our people and our state.

Today an initial report was given by Government officials and team of the Office – Oleksii Kuleba and Viktor Mykyta – on critical programs that are now suspended and were previously funded by American support.

Oleksii Kuleba and other Government officials are identifying which specific programs are currently in short supply; almost all of them were not channeled through the Government of Ukraine, but directly through our communities, through various organizations. There are many projects. We will determine which ones are critical and need immediate solutions.

Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi has been assigned to lead the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia." These are the most intense areas of combat.

All supplies of any components for terror to Russia must be cut off to stop this terror. And this applies not only to protecting lives in Ukraine.

We are preparing our diplomacy and international communications to ensure strong positions not only for Ukraine but for our entire Europe.

I wish us to be strong, to believe in ourselves, to believe in Ukraine. And to know for sure that Ukrainian unity is not just about the two banks of the Dnipro. It is about our entire world.

That’s the key question for Europe. And it’s not just about ideas. It’s about people first of all. About how they’ll live in a world that’s constantly changing.
