The official ceremony of meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, who is in Ukraine on an official visit, took place in Kyiv.
In the square in front of the Mariyinsky Palace, the honor guard company reported to the distinguished guest. The anthems of Ukraine and Moldova were played, after which the heads of state walked by the honor guard warriors.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Maia Sandu introduced members of the Ukrainian and Moldovan delegations.
Then the meeting of the heads of state in vis-a-vis format began, after which Ukrainian-Moldovan negotiations in an expanded format chaired by the President of Ukraine and the President of the Republic of Moldova were planned.
Following the negotiations, bilateral documents are to be signed.
