The meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is visiting Ukraine, began.
"It is a great pleasure and honor for me personally and for Ukraine to welcome the delegation of the United States of America, our strategic partner, at such a high level. This is very important first of all for the Ukrainian people, for our independence and sovereignty, which the United States has supported since 2014, and we are grateful to you for this support," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, welcoming Antony Blinken to Kyiv.
After the negotiations, the President and the US Secretary of State will have a brief conversation with the media.
In the framework of the visit, Antony Blinken will also meet with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and other officials.
