Roman Mashovets meets with delegation of Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Roman Mashovets held a meeting with Director of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Małgorzata Kosiura-Kaźmierska and Director of the Security Policy Department Adam Bugajski.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki also took part in the negotiations.

Mashovets thanked the Polish side for the strong support of Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia. He highly appreciated the efforts of the President and the government of the Republic of Poland to defend the interests of our country in multinational organizations.

Polish diplomats were briefed in detail on the security situation in Ukraine and around our borders, about enemy air strikes on civil energy infrastructure facilities, in particular, with the use of foreign-made drones.

A fruitful dialogue was held regarding the ways and means of further cooperation aimed at strengthening the defense capability of our country and training Ukrainian military personnel.

The deputy head of the President's Office said that at this time it is especially important to continue and strengthen support by supplying weapons from the partner countries, which is the key to joint victory over the aggressor.

Representatives of Poland, who have always been and remain powerful advocates of Ukraine's interests in the world arena, reiterated their national stance concerning steadfast support of the Ukrainian state for the sake of the full restoration of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
