Press Secretary of the President of Ukraine Iuliia Mendel outlined the details of the visit of the Head of State to Brussels scheduled for June 4-5.
“Tomorrow, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will begin his first foreign visit to Brussels to declare once again the unwavering position - Ukraine’s course towards the European and Euro-Atlantic integration,” the Speaker of the Head of State noted during the briefing on June 3.
According to the Press Secretary, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with a series of officials from the EU and NATO - Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, President of the European Council Donald Tusk, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
Press Secretary Iuliia Mendel emphasized that Volodymyr Zelenskyy was planning to reiterate Ukraine’s immutable compliance with the European and Euro-Atlantic course, as well as continuation of profound reforms, in particular, uncompromising struggle against corruption.
According to her, the President is hopeful that the EU will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression and provide financial and technical assistance in the implementation of reforms.
