On the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Budapest, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Moldova Maia Sandu.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Maia Sandu on the presidential election victory and emphasized the importance of coordinating the efforts of Ukraine and Moldova on the path to European Union membership.
Key topics of discussion included shared security challenges posed by Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as countering Russian disinformation and its impact on Moldova’s parliamentary elections next year.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also extended an invitation to Maia Sandu to visit Ukraine.
