During a working trip to the Luhansk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Zolote, Popasna district. The Head of State inspected the apartments, which were overhauled at public expense. The families of internally displaced persons, who applied to the President for housing at the end of last year, will start settling in them next week. Currently, almost 10 apartments are ready, and 5 more are being prepared.
Speaking to the families, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed satisfaction that the state had fulfilled its obligations to the families who were forced to leave their homes due to threats to life and health.
"We did what we promised. May harmony and peace reign in the new homes," the President said.
