During a working visit to the Dnipropetrovsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with local business representatives and answered their questions.
The discussion focused on combating the shadow economy, preserving jobs, bringing people back to Ukraine, and potential changes in the tax system. The President emphasized that creating conditions for Ukrainians to return home from abroad is a top priority for Ukraine in the labor market.
During the meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko highlighted the progress of the "Made in Ukraine" program in the Dnipropetrovsk region. She noted that the region ranks third in the pace of lending under the "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" program, with a total of UAH 3.7 billion in loans issued since the beginning of the year.
Additionally, the region benefits from programs aimed at restoring energy capacities.
In total, under both public and private initiatives, banks across the country have approved UAH 4.3 billion in energy capacity building loans.
