President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal with a letter, in which he urged to take further action to protect the economic interests of the state, together with the Office of the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service of Ukraine.

Thus, a comprehensive assessment of the state of activity of state-owned facilities that are of strategic importance for the economy and security of the state, including the identification and elimination of factors locking their operation, must be exercised.

Also, the Head of State insists on taking comprehensive action to remove the economically unjustified sale of property of enterprises of strategic importance for the economy and security of the state and business entities in which the state has corporate rights.

In addition, the impact of the state of privatization or sale of corporate rights in charter capitals of enterprises with a monopoly (dominant) position in the market of goods, scientific and research (scientific and technology) institutions, as well as enterprises of strategic importance for the economy and security of the state, in particular public joint stock company Motor Sich, on the state of economic security must be systematically assessed.

The Prime Minister must personally report on the results to the President.
