President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in the swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed judges. A total of 248 judges of local courts took the oath, including 208 judges of general local courts, 22 judges of administrative courts, and 18 judges of commercial courts.
The Head of State emphasized that everyone in their position must do everything possible to strengthen state institutions and defend Ukraine.
"Ukraine’s success and the unity of our society depend on everyone, especially judges. People expect efficiency in your work, the ability to understand social needs correctly, and to apply the Constitution and laws of Ukraine in such a way that law and order and human rights in Ukraine are upheld, and if necessary, restored," the President said.
He wished that every "decision in the name of Ukraine" would enhance respect for the courts and for Ukraine as a whole.
