During the visit to Canada on July 2, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife Olena paid tribute to the Holodomor victims of 1932-1933.

They put spike compositions to the Holodomor Memorial in Toronto and watched the Holodomor Bus multimedia exhibit, which is part of the Holodomor National Awareness Tour project.

The Ukrainian pupils from Toronto also presented an artistic composition dedicated to the captive Ukrainian sailors to the President.

"It is very important for the sailors to hear every day that they are remembered. Ukraine and Canada, which is a great friend of our country, will do everything to return our men home as quickly as possible," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State stressed the necessity to continue to put pressure on Russia to liberate the sailors.

"I really believe that Russia will want this. We really want this," he said.
