President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy requires law enforcement bodies to find those involved in the recording of conversations at the meeting of Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, ministers and representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine within two weeks.
The Head of State set the relevant task during the meeting with the heads of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Anticorruption Bureau, the State Bureau of Investigation and the State Security Office.
"I demand to get information in two weeks, as soon as possible. Find out who did it and deal with it," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
In addition, the President noted that the criminal proceedings should clearly identify the list of persons present at the negotiations and clarify the circumstances of these negotiations.
“There were many fakes in the media regarding the presence of certain officials. The photo, which is in the media - you must find out whether or not all these people were participants,” the Head of State said.
He added that, according to the Prime Minister, there were several talks and the meeting, from which the first excerpt was released, lasted five hours.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also requires the necessary measures to be taken within two weeks to prevent such incidents in the future and to technically protect the information. Unauthorized wiretapping and recording of conversations should not take place in the premises of authorities at all levels, as it is a matter of national security.
