During his working trip to the Khmelnytskyi region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited one of the dormitories of the Khmelnytskyi National University, where as of the beginning of the year more than 7,500 people were studying. In total, the university has five dormitories designed for 2,500 people.
The Head of State personally checked the living conditions of the students. In particular, he inspected the kitchen, living and shower rooms, as well as the gym, which the students renovated themselves.
After the meeting with the heads of higher education institutions on June 2, the President decided to include the construction and repair of dormitories in the Great Construction program to ensure comfortable living conditions for students.
"It's a good dormitory compared to the ones I've seen. It is obvious that inhabitants keep it in order. We need a program to create modern high-quality dormitories across the country," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after visiting the dormitory in Khmelnytskyi.
