During a working trip to the frontline regions of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited stabilization points providing medical aid to servicemen wounded and injured in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia sectors.
Particularly, the Head of State visited the stabilization point of the 37th separate marine brigade. Here, medics provide first aid after evacuation from the battlefield to the warriors wounded in the Donetsk sector. The number of patients depends on the intensity of hostilities. Sometimes up to 30 servicemen with different types of injuries are treated here at the same time.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also visited the stabilization point that was deployed from the 450th military hospital of the Zaporizhzhia operational group of troops and the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops. Here, they stabilize the condition of wounded servicemen, perform emergency surgical interventions if necessary, and prepare the warriors for further evacuation.
The President talked to the wounded warriors and combat medics and asked about their urgent needs.
"Huge gratitude for saving the lives of many. Thank you very much for protecting our military. Thank you for putting them back on their feet. Stay safe. And thank you for saving the lives of everyone else. As for the wounded guys, it is very brave of you to stay in the ranks. Thank you for this choice you made - the choice to defend Ukraine. I wish you all only health and victory," the Head of State said.
For courage displayed in the defense of Ukraine, the President presented combat medics and servicemen undergoing treatment with the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.
