As part of a working trip to Rivne region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Rivne nuclear power plant, where he held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.
The meeting participants listened to the information of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny and Head of Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov about the possible options for the enemy's actions regarding the Rivne NPP.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, Commander of the Pivnich task force Serhiy Nayev, Commander of the National Guard Yuriy Lebid, and Head of the State Border Guard Service Serhiy Deyneko reported on the organization of the protection and defense system of the Rivne NPP.
Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection Yuriy Shchyhol briefed the Staff on the state of cybersecurity at the Rivne NPP.
Head of Rivne Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Koval and Commander of the Volyn task force Volodymyr Myronyuk reported on the construction of defensive lines and the social and economic situation in the region.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Head of the Security Service Vasyl Malyuk, President of the state-owned enterprise Energoatom Petro Kotin, General Director of the Rivne NPP Pavlo Kovtonyuk, government officials, representatives of security and law enforcement agencies also took part in the meeting.
